A “sleeper” vehicle is one that looks small, but is actually quite fast. The best slumber cars gives you the unique pleasure of not being noticed until someone next to you questions why their foot is so flat on the ground but their car is still there. It’s an advantage of a Honda Civic eBay-accessorized that you can cruise down highways without having to deal with all the petty youngster.
11 BEST SLEEPER COARS FOR 2022
Ford Fusion Sport certainly is one of our favorite sleeper cars. Ford Fusion Sport is being called “sports car” in a new ad. However, Fusion Sport boasts a turbocharged Ecoboost-2.7L 2.7L V6 engine with 325 horsepower and, perhaps more importantly, 380 lbft torque. It is super fast.
It was a hard decision, but the Golf R qualifies since its dimensions are smaller than a regular GTI and it’s difficult to tell them apart. It is so easy to see it when you park Golf R alongside its closest rival, Subaru Rally STI. In just 5 seconds it disappears completely into the background.
The M240i still offers 335 horsepower & 369 HP of torque, even without M2’s fancy gimmicks. This vehicle is also considered to be the most enthusiast daily driver available today. You have many options for customization of your vehicle when the warranty expires.
FORD SAURUS SHO
Because it’s Taurus, everyone forgets about it. Taurus SHO is powered by 365 horsepower, a 3.5 liters twin turbine EcoBoost V6 and 350 lb-ft. This engine makes it faster in traffic than a Toyota Camry.
This is one our favorite hidden gems, as no one expected a Lincoln would be powered by true horsepower. It comes with the 3.0-liter twinturbo V6 engine option. The base is the Fusion Sport. 400 horsepower can be unleashed by your foot.
BMW M550I M550I XDRIVE
This is similar to the M240i. While many people prefer the pure M model, there’s also an option for those who want something more casual. For maximum forward traction, the BMW M550ixDrive’s 455-horsepower twinturbo V8 transmits power to all 4 wheels. This allows it reach 60 mph within 4 seconds.
It’s easy to tell that this is an RS-model because it looks sporty and sharp. However, the Toyota Camry SE looks very similar. Audi doesn’t push the envelope. It is only by looking at the badges that you can tell this four-door sedan has lots of power. The power comes from 605 horses and 516 lb-ft. This allows the car to go from zero-60 mph in less that 4 seconds.
BMW is the most common name when it comes to fast German vehicles. AMG’s focus on the E-Class has a purpose, which is a contrast to the BMW and Audi models on this list. There are many vehicles out there that look like they belong together, and this AMG E-Class does not stand out as strongly as the previous AMG E-Class models. The most obvious clues to the AMG E63 are the quad exhausts or wheels. But, if you do the right upgrades, they may still be hiding. E63 S’s 603 hp and 627lbft of torque propels it to 60mph in just 3.1 seconds.
CTS-hood V’s bulge almost prevented the car from making this list. But, because of its performance and ballistic approach, it is worthy of this list. The Cadillac logo does not hide the same 640 horsepower Corvette Z06 supercharged 6.2-lb-ft torque Corvette Z8 V8 powerplant.
The Charger is not well-known but its sibling made it on the list. It’s a very sporty Charger-looking car. However, without adding stripes or bright paint colours it doesn’t really look like a beast with 707 horsepower. White is the best colour for merging in traffic. It smooths out bumps quite well.
TESLA MODEL X
A Tesla crossover equipped with the correct option will surpass any other vehicle that you see on a daily basis. This is even when there are seven people inside. It can reach 60 MPH in only 2.8 seconds after being put into Ludicrous Mode. This activates its incredible torque immediately. It is true that Teslas arrive factory de-badged. But, this crossover model also makes it easy to be aware of Ludicrous Mode. Only a few people will ever see it coming.
